GOD'S LOVE FOR HUMANITY!
"God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life..."(John 3:16 CEV).Looking at the scripture above, you'll agree with me that it's perhaps the best and most popular verse in the Bible, but many haven't grasp its potent power because of lack of knowledge. This verse reveals God's great love for humanity. Think about it; He loved the world of human beings so much, as sinful and wicked as they were, that He gave HIS ONLY SON, JESUS, TO DIE IN THEIR PLACE!
Doesn't it amaze you that even when Adam and Eve sinned back in the Garden of Eden, it was God who came looking for them(Read the whole of Genesis 3). You think Almighty God wasn't aware that they had sinned? Of course, He was. He's The All Knowing God, yet He came looking for them. Adam and Eve were hiding from God because they had sinned, yet God still covered their nakedness with animal skin, showing that He loved him. The Bible says "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1John 4:10).
So clearly, God demonstrated His great and boundless love for us, while we were yet in sin. Perhaps you're not born again and you're wondering, "Can God possibly love someone like me?" Emphatically yes! No matter what kind of life you have lived or living, you can take advantage of His great love today. Come to Him because He loves you just the way you are. You're so precious to Him that He doesn't want you to perish, so He came to die in your stead. Hallelujah!
Then, for you that is born again, now, that you know how much God loved the world of sinners, think about how much more He loves you! The Bible says, "...if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life" (Romans 5:10).
Take advantage of His great love today. Refuse to settle for poverty, sickness, stagnation, setbacks and failure, for God has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness (Read 2Peter 1:3). He did all these because of His great love for you. Have faith and confidence in His love today.
The Blessed Truth
If you're ready to give your life to Christ; you want to be Born Again, please say this prayer out loud with the whole of your heart.
"O Lord God, I come to you in the Name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I believe and confess today that He died for my sins and He was raised up for my justification. I receive eternal life into my spirit, I am saved, I am born again, I am a Child of God forever in Jesus' Name. Amen!"
