BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS!

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7). 

True prosperity is about being a blessing to others and helping them live a meaningful life. It’s about contributing positively to the advancement of  the  lives  of  those  around  you. The truth is, by being  a  blessing  to others, you’ll always be lifted, for there’s promotion in helping others. God will make happen for you the good things you make happen for others.

Help those around you stand strong; help them discover their God-given potentials. As an employer, for example, help those in your employ realize their dreams for success. In the same vein, as an employee in an  organization, be  diligent;  commit  yourself  to improving the organization where you work. Make the progress of that organization a priority, for in its prosperity you will also prosper. As a student, do you know that by helping your course mates to be good in a particular course or subject makes you a master of that course? Of course it does. In the academic field, this is one of my secrets of excellence. Proverbs 11:25 says, “The  liberal  soul  shall  be made fat:  and  he that  watereth  shall  be  watered also himself.” 

Never let selfishness and sentiment get in your way of helping others grow or being better. You never can tell which of the futures of those around you is tied to your blessing. That's why the Scripture made us to understand that you're blessed so you can bless others. Luke  6:38 says "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." This also implies that God is counting on you to make an impact in someone's life today. Praise God.

The Prayer:

Heavenly Father I worship your Holy name this morning in the name of Jesus. Thank you for the free gift of life according to your undying love and unending grace over me.
Thank you for making me to be a carrier of your blessings, and by extension making me to be a blessing onto others around me in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
