THE RIGHT CONFESSION!
"Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth,...Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. " (James 3:5, 10).The Lord has done so much for us, but it's our responsibility to identify ourselves in the blessing. Just as the Lord told the children of Israel in the wilderness, He's saying to you today, "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing" (Deuteronomy 30:19). Through your confession, you can choose what and how you want your life to be. Your mouth is the key with which you unlock the blessings in your life!
You can open the doors of blessing with your mouth; and with the same mouth you can introduce death and curses as well. Remember what our Lord Jesus said in Matthew 12:37, "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned". This shows that it has got a lot more to do with the words you speak; that is, the confessions you make over yourself on daily basis. 1Peter 3:10 says, "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." Words you speak have power to make you and also to break you. Though your tongue is small, it controls everything in your life; with it, you can chart your course unto victorious life.
The Lord has given us the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and that means we can use our mouths to unlock doors of blessings (Read Matthew 16:19). Therefore, you have to fill your heart with God's Word, "...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" (Matthew 12:34).
