BELIEVE AND FAITH!

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" (1Peter 2:24).

Last week Thursday, we discussed about the relationship between faith and the Word of God. The Holy Spirit made us to understand how the two work hand in hand. Now, some Christians find themselves having a conflict between what the Word says and their own personal experience as regard to the Word. For example, some have read and believed our opening scripture for today, yet they're battling one ailment after the other and now they're asking, "What am I supposed to do that I'm not doing?"

Once, a brother asked me similar question, drawing attention to the book of 2Corinthians 8:9 that says Jesus was made poor that we might be made rich. Then he asked, "If this is true, how come so many Christians are still poor?" He wanted to know what could be done to make that scripture real in their lives.

Well, brethren, here's what you need to know: When you were born again, you were brought into a life of absolute prosperity, absolute good health, strength and victory; it's been done already. Whether or not you're enjoying it is your responsibility. The Bible says, "...work out your salvation..." (Read Philippians 2:12); meaning that you must live the Word of salvation. Act according to the Word. It'll interest you to know that in Christianity, we "do" the Word; we're Word practitioners. You must personalise the Word for yourself and act accordingly. Hear this, the content of what you personalise to yourself, forms the reality of your being. That is, what you say is what you become!

You're the one to make the Word real in your life. You're the one to subdue the circumstances around you via the Word you say. And as you know, you can't boldly say what you don't believe. There must be an agreement. You must agree with the Word; settle and digest it in your heart. Use the proclamation of the Word to effect changes.
The Blessed Truth!

The Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we bless you for the knowledge of your engrafted Word in our spirits. Thank you for the desired changes your Word is causing in our lives already. We give you all the praises eternal King of Glory for your goodness towards us in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Kindly share this with your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbours as you remain blessed in Jesus' Name. Amen!

Good Morning Everyone!
