The Blessed Truth Jan. 1 2019

THE SEED OF GREATNESS!

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17).

 To start with, I will love to bring your attention to one constant truth of life. You see, before any seed can germinate and bring out more fruits, it has to go through the processes  of being planted and getting decayed before the new plant would be sprouted out. That means the greatness of the seed is tied to its been buried. The same people go through challenges, afflictions, sufferings and all of that, but the truth is that no matter how bad the condition may be, there is a greater and glorious future waiting for you. Our opening verse in The Living Bible translation says, "These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won't last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God's richest blessing upon us forever and ever!" (2 Corinthians 4: TLB). 

You see that?  The seed of greatness resides within you. That means that with God working in and through you, nothing is impossible. You can do and achieve all things! Your power, ability, potential and success does not reside with another man, woman, system or organization. It is within you. The blueprint for your success  resides within you. Philippians 2:3  says, "For it is God who worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." God is interested in you. He's not done with you yet. No wonder the Bible says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 NKJV). 

The pressures and demands of life, the experiences and knock backs that you have had may have caused you to forget or abandon this simple truth. However, as you step into 2019 today, perhaps it is time to refocus and remind yourself that you're indeed special, and that God hasn't finished with you yet.
THE BLESSED TRUTH!

The Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word this morning. Thank you for your revelational knowledge that has enlightened my understanding of your Word. Thank you for your grace upon my life. Thank you for having made me and my family to witness the new year alive and in good health. This is my year of  greatness and advancement in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Kindly share this with your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbours as you remain blessed in Jesus' Name. Amen!
