TO BE DISCIPLINED!
"You must submit to {and} endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train {and} correct {and} discipline? " (Hebrews 12:7 AMP).You were enrolled as a soldier in God's army the day you got born again. Yes! You need to have that understanding. And the military caucus is an association or an organisation of disciplined people. When you realize that you are a soldier in God's army, you begin to understand that you're called to a life of spiritual discipline.
You see, the place of discipline in our Christian-walk cannot be over emphasised, because it is an integral part of our relationship with God. That is, God is a great God and a supreme being and if you're to walk with Him and enjoy His benefits as your Heavenly Father, then you must be disciplined. No father on earth would love to see his child go wayward while he's alive when he knows there are things he could do to save that child's future and make him a better person in life. No father, at least no responsible father would do that, how much more God; our Heavenly Father whom for our sake sent His first begotten Son to die for us (Read John 3:16). Praise God. Therefore, we need to surrender and adhere to God's precept if we're ever to make anything good of our destiny.
To be disciplined is to be guided, to be corrected, to be reproveable and it is also to be trained. Check on the people occupying the positions of authority in the Kingdom of God, they are disciplined elites. People who have gone through the test, trials and travails of life under the laid down godly principles. A life without direction will definitely end in total frustration.
Learning to accept and receive discipline is a mark of spiritual maturity and it is immensely beneficial to you at all levels of life. As a Christian, the Word of God should be the guide over your life and the Bible says, "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul..." in Psalms 19:7. That means if you surrender yourself totally to the Word of God, you'll be changed spiritually and then of course, it'll reflect on the outside. That's where the problem lies; many don't want to give in to the Word. Listen, God never stops blessing, He never stops answering prayers, He never stops caring for you, rather, we are the ones who stopped following His channel of blessing us through our disobedience to His Word. If you want to take the lead in this world, then take heed to His Word. Praise God.

The Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we honour you this morning for you are God. Omnipresent; the Ever-Present-God thank you for watching over us all the time. Thank you for your Word and we thank you for changing our hearts. Help our weaknesses Oh God! So we could yield to your Word. Take the stony heart away from us and give us the heart of flesh so we could do your will. Thank you Father, for we know it is done in Jesus' Name.
